I think I may be a pizza snob. I grew up on NY pizza for over 40 years and have since moved. I still haven't found that wonderfully gooey slice yet, you know the type where you hold the slice in your hands (no knife and fork....puleeze!!) and you can see the melted mozzarella cheese gradually flowing over the edge, along with a ton of olive oil and pizza sauce? If you haven't eaten a slice of pizza from NY, you haven't lived! Sorry, just saying...

So what's a gal to do without a more healthful alternative and, when the cravings hit? I am definitely liable to fall off-the-wagon and go for something really detrimental to my health - like a Canoli Cake!! Have you ever had this cake? O...M...G
Squirrel....back on track :)
I think my boyfriend and I have finally found the solution to the pizza dilemma (not the Canoli cake dilemma yet). We made our own pizza and it was amazing (ok, so the crust wasn't like my favorite NY style) but I can live with this. No more guilt:
